After losing three fights in a row, Israel Adesanya has decided to take some time off and not stress too much about his UFC career. In his time on the sidelines, the former 2-time middleweight champion appears to have discovered a new hobby, the kind of hobby that Shaquille O’Neal turned into a job. If you’re wondering what that is, well, Adesanya appears to have discovered his talents as a DJ.

Yes, after Shaquille O’Neal, also known as DJ Diesel, Israel Adesanya has also decided to dip his hands in music. ‘The Last Stylebender’ has always shown his affinity towards art and entertainment, often showcasing how good a dancer he is. Adesanya has even collaborated with one of the most popular dance groups, the Jabbawockeez, in a video on social media that went viral.
This time, though, it was about performing at Afrosoul 2025 to show his skills as a disc jockey. Israel Adesanya has “come back into training,” claims coach
There are plenty of people talking about the possible matchups for Israel Adesanya when he returns to action after his loss to Nassourdine Imavov. We may see more of those discussions popping up online because his comeback could be right around the corner. Eugene Bareman revealed that the Nigerian-born Kiwi superstar is putting the work in at the gym, committing himself to full-time training.
“Israel right now, basically, had the start of the year off, and he has come back into training in the last couple of months. He is training regularly, so he’s training every day, twice a day. He needs to prepare his mind and body for a potential fight at the end of this year, so that’s what he’s doing,” ‘Izzy’s coach told Submission Radio. When it came to talking about his opponent, Eugene Bareman expressed uncertainty.
“In terms of opponents, I don’t know. Israel has got a couple of more [fight] in him. Just give him a fun fight. Give him something exciting. Give him something fun. I haven’t thought about specific names. Leave it to the fans, I guess,” he added. Regardless, fans will be waiting for Israel Adesanya to make a thunderous return just like he did at UFC 287, when he captured the 185lbs for a second time. The question we have now is when and against whom. Adesanya has been playing matchmaker for his rivals, but has said nothing about his plans. Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below.
