It’s the month of love and former UFC star Nate Diaz was recently seen having a great time with his girlfriend, Misty Brown, on a Valentine’s Day trip. But guess what? YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, who’s a former rival of the Stockton native, decided to rain on his parade. In fact, ‘El Gallo’ made sure to remind Diaz about the financial success of their boxing match last year.

Almost nobody saw Jake Paul making waves in the boxing world like he’s doing now. Although he’s been called out for fighting opponents who are way past their prime, the financial success he’s had so far cannot be downplayed. The same thing happened when Paul locked horns with Nate Diaz in the latter’s first-ever boxing match, and both went home with quite handsome paychecks.

Nevertheless, it was Jake Paul who took the heavier payout, which is estimated to be around $10 million. On the other hand, Nate Diaz was guaranteed to take at least half a million from that fight, but the real details of his purse aren’t clear. Despite that, Diaz is certainly living the good life as the ex-UFC star and fiancee Misty Brown decided to visit Paris, France, to celebrate their Valentine’s Day. But Paul would claim on social media that he made it possible for them to travel to Europe. “I paid for this trip,” Paul commented on an Instagram post.

Well, there’s no doubt that the boxing match paid Nate Diaz pretty well, but is he going to box again? Well, it seems like another YouTuber wanted to dance with the former UFC star inside the squared circle, but Diaz does not look like he is interested in it.

Nate Diaz turns down British YouTuber’s offer for a boxing match

Much like Jake Paul, the popular group Sidemen’s member, KSI, who’s arguably the biggest YouTuber in the UK, has also ventured into boxing. But his outings are not on the scale that the American star has been able to do. Fighters like Conor McGregor had called out the 31-year-old for a boxing match, but that hasn’t materialized yet. During a recent interview, KSI opened up about approaching several notable fighters for a boxing match, and it includes Nate Diaz, but just couldn’t get them to agree.

“We reached out to so many other fighters. My team reached out to Nate Diaz because we wanted to show the world that, ‘OK, Jake (Paul) beat Nate Diaz in the way that he beat him. Let me show what I can do,” KSI told Ariel Helwani. “Tommy Fury shouldn’t have won.’ I showed the levels. I showed that I was better than Jake, and I wanted to do it again with the Nate Diaz fight. I wanted to fully knock him out. And then he said no.”

What’s your perspective on:

Did Jake Paul really fund Nate Diaz's Paris trip, or is it just another publicity stunt?
