The latest famous face looking to make a mark on the English football scene is A$AP Rocky. Reports have linked the well-known musician, A$AP Rocky, to a takeover attempt for League Two team Tranmere Rovers. This buyout ”” thought to be around $15m ”” will put Tranmere on a fresh path and could have implications throughout British football.

A$AP Rocky has led the charge on possible new ownership at Tranmere Rovers, but he is by no means the only one involved in this endeavor. Nigel Adkins hails ‘hard-fought’ win as Tranmere sees off Bromley

Nigel Adkins praised his Tranmere team’s spirit after they won 2-1 against Bromley to get back to winning ways. Louis Dennis scored deep into stoppage time, but it would only serve as a consolation goal, as Rovers secured the points with two late goals from Omari Patrick and Harvey Saunders.

“It was a hard-fought victory today. We know that we have a team that competes, and we had to against a robust Bromley side. I asked them to stand toe to toe, and they did that today. We were rewarded for that with a couple of good goals from Omari and Harvey,” said Adkins.

The defeat extended Bromley’s winless run to nine games to leave them just above the bottom two, and Ravens manager Andy Woodman did not hide his frustration at the result.

“We had so many chances today and didn’t put them away, and you can’t do that,” he said.

“The goals we gave away were embarrassing and frustrating. You look at the balance of the game, Grant Smith had one serious save to make, and we’ve come away with a defeat. We have no option now other than to dig deep, and I trust my players to dig deep.”
