Romain Grosjean has been on the receiving end of some fairly odd incidents and crashes. For example, in Baku 2018, the Frenchman spun and crashed when behind the safety car. Oddly enough, he pinned the blame of Sauber’s Marcus Ericsson, even though he was nowhere near him.

But, worse and more embarrassing than crashing behind the safety car, is crashing in the pit lane. Now, Romain Grosjean has added that to his list as well, when he spun while exiting the pit lane and broke his front wing.

The incident took place during the first practice session and Grosjean was already on cold medium tyres. One would suspect that the lack of grip on the cold tyres was the culprit behind the bizarre spin and crash.
