“Unstoppable” versus the Thai superstar is a bout that fans have been clamoring for over the last several years. With Stamp’s growing list of spectacular finishes, she is a worthy opponent for longtime champion Lee, and the Fairtex athlete isn’t concerned with how she gets the victory on the night, as long as she gets it.

“When we’re in the Circle, anything can happen, and we don’t know how this fight will end. I will do my best to win. Whether I knock her out or not, winning is already enough for me,” Stamp said.

How will Stamp Fairtex manage Angela Lee’s ground game?

Stamp holds an 8-1 MMA record and has scored victories in her last three fights, the most recent of which put her at the top of the atomweight rankings. Stamp submitted Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat with an armbar in the final of the Grand Prix in late 2021, proving that she had successfully added a dangerous ground game to her Muay Thai and kickboxing prowess.

The 24-year-old sensation will be looking to utilize all her skills against Lee’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and infamous rubbery submission technique but is hoping to keep the action upright overall.

“The best strategy against the Twister is to not let it happen because once you’re in there, it’s very hard to defend against it. The best strategy is to bring her into my world and force her to fight my fight. I’m confident, but I would prefer to stick to striking, which I’m good at,” Stamp said.
