Harrison’s World Title challenge of Nong-O Hama at ONE on Prime Video 1 in August 2022 didn’t end on ideal terms for the veteran, as he suffered a devastating knee injury that ended their match in just the first round.

The nightmare only continued as he faced multiple setbacks on his way to recovery, which led to an extended time away from the ring. The 39-year-old has finally put his health issues behind him, though, and he is now ready to make a statement the whole world will hear when he takes on a much younger Kitano.

“I’m looking forward to getting in there and turning the clocks back, doing what I used to do a couple of years ago, and just having wild fights,” Harrison told ONE in an interview.
