ONE Championship’s 10-year anniversary spectacle set for Saturday, 26 March, keeps getting bigger. Just last week, the organization confirmed that Shinya “Tobikan Judan” Aoki will meet Yoshihiro “Sexyama” Akiyama at ONE X.

There seem to be another couple of matches that are guaranteed to leave fans inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium on the edge of their seats.

The first addition is a matchup between Dagestani grappling sensation Yusup “Maestro” Saadulaev and Japanese martial arts star Shoko Sato. The experienced contender holds a 20-6-1 (1 NC) professional resume and will be the favorite to edge out his Japanese rival when they go toe-to-toe in a three-round bantamweight clash.
Saadulaev, a former ONE World Title challenger, suffered an unfortunate defeat against Stephen Loman in December, losing his #3-ranked spot in the process. He wants to return to winning ways at all costs on March 26.
Sato, on the other hand, enters this contest looking to return to winning ways on the global stage. In his last appearance in ONE, the knockout specialist went down to now #4-ranked Fabricio “Wonder Boy” Andrade in January 2021. He looks to get himself back in the rankings with a huge win against “Maestro” in Singapore.
The Japanese veteran owns a 32-14-2 (1 NC) record. His biggest win in the Circle was a submission win over #2-ranked “Pretty Boy” Kwon Won Il.

Japanese fighters will showcase their skill against each other at ONE: X
Two more Japanese fighters will light up the Circle during ONE’s 10-year anniversary event. They are Senzo Ikeda and Ryuto “Dragon Boy” Sawada. They face off in a strawweight MMA tie.
Ikeda, a former Pancrase Flyweight Champion, had a rough start to his journey at The Home of Martial Arts. However, he has been in the form of his life since moving down to strawweight.
The 39-year-old fighter hopes to extend his winning streak to three. But his 26-year-old compatriot plans to ruin it. Sawada has been on a two-match losing streak, so he is more fired up than ever to produce a highlight-reel performance at ONE X.
