Stamp Fairtex will be paying close attention to the Janet “JT” Todd-Allycia Hellen Rodrigues ONE Atomweight World Title unification bout with a motive. The Thai striker dropped her pair of striking titles to both divisional queens before fully transitioning to MMA – losing her Muay Thai strap to the debuting Brazilian while falling short in her kickboxing title defense against Todd in their rematch. 

However, the Fairtex Gym representative isn’t holding anything against both women. Instead, she views them as world-class warriors. And she believes they’ll put on a show in this hotly anticipated showdown at ONE Fight Night 8 this Friday, March 24.

Speaking to ONE, the former two-sport World Champion shared, “I think both of them are good fighters. They are at the same level. For Allycia, although she was away from the arena for a long time after giving birth, she has come back so strong as seen from her recent training. For Janet, her agility is already the hallmark.”

Both women have their own strengths to leave the Circle with the prize on the line, and in Stamp’s opinion, this makes up for an interesting clash of styles. Todd normally relies on her boxing to draw people into range. From there, the Boxing Works athlete alternates between her elbows, kicks, and punches to score more damage.

Above all, Stamp is excited to see who owns the ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title next. Simply because redemption is on her mind. Though the Thai admits her focus is on MMA now, she’ll be happy to jump on an opportunity to reclaim what was once in her possession.

She added, “I’m ready to meet either of them. Because my goal is to go back and win the Muay Thai belt if I get that opportunity.”
