What are the World Team Trials?
The World Team Trials is an important and highly anticipated wrestling event. This trial process is open to every U.S. citizen who can appear to represent the USA at the World Championships, as governed by United World Wrestling (UWW) and USA Wrestling (USAW) rules. What will happen if the wrestler clears the trials? After the trials, the wrestlers will directly go to Final X. What about the schedule?

What is the world team trials schedule?
The 2025 Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament is scheduled for May 16–17 at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Kentucky. In order to fight for a position on the global team on June 14, the champion of each weight will advance to Final X. May 15 will be available for workout sessions, and the mats will be available from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Also, the online athlete registration deadline for senior men’s FS and women’s FS is 7:00 PM EST (no exceptions after this).
The main event will take place on May 16 and 17, and the table below has all the timings and particulars of the events.
