In an interesting video, Biles seems to get into the headspace to warm up on the balance beam. “Every morning when I step into the gym, I ask myself the same question,” she narrates, over footage of herself going through different moves. “Why just live up to people’s expectations when you can defy them?”,?says the owner of 23 gold Olympian medals.

Meanwhile, she is approached by a minion for an autograph! Amidst her session, she immediately takes the paper out of the minion’s hand and signs it. Amused with the gesture, she also awards the little character with a kiss on the head. It was indeed extremely sweet, wasn’t it?
