Just a few weeks back, Simone Biles gave fans fresh hope, posting a story on Instagram showing the World Champions Centre in Texas, making it seem like she had returned to training. Biles may have had plenty on her plate, but she still made time for Owens. She showed up in Indianapolis to support him during the Colts’ preseason game.

On August 22, Biles shared an Instagram Story featuring herself and Owens ahead of Indianapolis’ matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

The couple appeared to share a playful high-five as they celebrated the moment.

“We’re so back,” Biles wrote over the post.

Getting to the game was no simple trip, as Inside Gymnastics noted that it “took planes and automobiles” for Biles to make it to Indianapolis.

For today’s game, Biles opted for an all-black look, pairing a cropped Colts tank top with oversized, parachute-style pants. She completed the outfit with a quilted Chanel bag, while Owens was already dressed in his Colts uniform.

The appearance came as Owens began his first season with Indianapolis after signing a one-year, $1.4 million contract with the franchise in March.

Before the game, the couple was also seen sharing a kiss, giving Biles a chance to show her support before Owens and the Colts took on Atlanta.

Interestingly, the matchup marked the Colts’ second preseason game of 2026 and their home preseason opener at Lucas Oil Stadium. Unfortunately for Owens and his teammates, the afternoon quickly turned into a one-sided affair.

Atlanta dominated from the start, outgaining Indianapolis 464-161 in total yards and scoring on five of its first six possessions. Indianapolis struggled to find the end zone throughout the game.

Spencer Shrader accounted for all six of the Colts’ points with two field goals, while Riley Leonard completed 7 of 14 passes for 62 yards in the first half. Anthony Richardson Sr. took over after halftime and finished 3 of 9 for 24 yards.

Still, the heavy 34-6 defeat did little to take away from Biles’ presence in the stands as she continued to support Owens during his first season with the Colts.

But while Biles continues to stand by her husband, another question is now catching the attention of gymnastics fans: could she return to the sport herself?

Simone Biles’ gym return sparks fresh Olympic comeback speculation

Just recently, the seven-time Olympic gold medalist sparked fresh comeback speculation after sharing photos from inside the World Champions Centre on her Instagram Story.

The Texas gym, owned by her parents, Ron and Nellie Biles, is where Biles developed into one of the greatest gymnasts in the sport.

In the first photo, Biles showed the familiar training space, with a foam pit, beams, a trampoline and a banner reading “The World is Yours!” visible in the background. She then gave fans another glimpse inside her old locker.

The photo featured beauty and wellness products, a hand-drawn poster, a Polaroid and what appeared to be gymnastics equipment. Biles captioned the post, “Just how I left it,” alongside a mini goat stuffed animal.

Needless to say, fans were immediately captivated by the post and began speculating whether the Olympic champion was secretly signaling his comeback. Biles, however, hasn’t confirmed that she’s been training for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

In April, Biles said her chances of competing at LA 2028 were “50-50.” She also explained that the decision would not simply come down to whether her body could handle another Olympic cycle.

Her mental readiness would be just as important. Biles has not competed since the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she won four medals. If she does decide to return, she would first have to get back into competition and earn her place on the U.S. team before she could make another Olympic appearance.
