No more Chicago Bears games to attend this season for Simone Biles. Throughout the season, Biles led the WAG sidelines as she never missed a chance to support her husband, Jonathan Owens. She did the same at the Bears vs. Los Angeles Rams game, even if it meant brave freezing temperatures on the sideline. Unfortunately, neither the result nor the reaction from some NFL fans went her way.

On Sunday, January 18, 2026, Simone Biles attended the Bears’ playoff game versus the Los Angeles Rams at Soldier Field. She surely turned heads in a customized beige long coat with action shots of Owens, his name, and his jersey number 36 stitched on it. To top it all, she pulled off the look with pointed boots, a silver necklace, and subtle winter-inspired makeup, which glittered under the stadium lights.

However, her hair was the highlight of the day! Biles wore a long, straight wig, parted in the center, with rich dark brown with caramel highlights around her face. Her look was too good to miss, as NBC’s @SNFonNBC spotlighted Biles’ outfit too. But, it was after that things seemed to have taken a turn, both with the Bears’ game and the reactions to Biles’ look.

Chicago Bears fought hard, tying the score late with a touchdown from Caleb Williams to Cole Kmet, sending the game into overtime. But the Rams won 20‑17 on a 42‑yard field goal by Harrison Mevis after Williams threw an interception early in OT. With that kick, the Rams advanced to the NFC Championship, ending the Bears’ playoff hopes.

This means Biles wouldn’t be attending another Bears game this season, unfortunately. And this last one that she did, looked like a hit and a miss, as she stole some gazes with her style, but not all NFL fans seemed to approve of her new look.

Pulling off the honey blonde wig was a brave change for Biles. But it drew mixed reactions from the fans as one said, “Ugly wig.” Well, wigs aside, Biles has admitted even feeling pressured even for the way her real hair looked. During the 2024 Olympic Games, Simone Biles captioned one of her videos, “Don’t come for me about my hair. IT WAS DONE, but the bus has NO AC & it’s like 9,000 degrees … oh & a 45 min ride.”

Biles has even said, “I used to worry about [my hair being considered] not professional. But I’m not embarrassed about it anymore.” Clearly, Biles’ priority gradually shifted to feeling more confident in herself. But coming back to the NFL fans, the reactions didn’t stop there.

While many fans enjoy Biles’ sideline appearances, one questioned the attention she receives. A fan asked, “Why do you guys highlight this woman so much? Do the other players not have wives?” Wile another joked, “That why they lost lol.”

Well, the NFL WAG groups can be quite star-studded actually. Taylor Swift’s appearances at Kansas City Chiefs games have become a cultural event, while Olivia Culpo, model and former Miss Universe, married to 49ers star Christian McCaffrey, has become a fan favorite on the sidelines. However, what sets Simone Biles apart is that she is a global sports icon with 11 Olympic medals. That naturally brings more attention from fans, the media, and even the Bears and NFL often feature her on their official social media channels.

Moreover, at times Biles’ presence isn’t just sideline support. On December 28, 2025, during the Bears vs. 49ers Sunday Night Football game, Biles officially served as a credentialed sideline photographer, wearing a press vest and carrying a camera. Even so, not everyone seems to love it. As another fan commented, “The new Taylor Swift…No thanks.” While another one added, “She’s so annoying.”

But irrespective, Biles has always unapologetically owned her personal style. During the wild-card clash against the Packers, she showed up in a black longline leather coat with fur accents and a painted image of Jonathan Owens. At the Bears’ home game against the Bengals, she wore a navy rhinestone hoodie-and-pants set featuring Owens’ name and jersey number.

But unfortunately with the Bears’ season over sooner than expected, Biles’ game-day appearances have come to an end for now.
