Olivia Dunne is slowly hitting the road, connecting to a better form on the mat. Last Friday, LSU Gymnastics locked horns with the No. 7 Florida Gators in PMAC. After the disappointing Quad meet in Oklahoma, it was the first duel for the Tigers, and, expectedly, they had to register a comeback. In the Quad meet, Olivia’s gymnastics camp surely went past two ranked opponents (No. 4 Utah and No. 6 California). But it had to face a loss from the table topper, Oklahoma. So, to keep the program on the hunt, the Tiger Ladies had to put a statement in front of the Gators. Livvy stood in that mood.

In the meet, Dunne competed only in the floor exercise event. But it was enough to break the shackle. She kept it at 9.875 (9.85 in J1 and 9.90 in J2). After Haleigh Bryant and Aleah Finnegan’s, it was the score on the Tigers’ list. But the job isn’t over yet. Olivia Dunne has to carry the momentum now. But the scenes are dramatic. How?

The LSU Gymnastics team will move to Fayetteville on January 24 to compete against the Arkansas Razorbacks. So yet another away match is waiting for Livvy and her colleagues. Is she ready for it? Maybe. And why the question mark? Well, on January 22, the gymnast shared a clip on TikTok.

The post came with the caption, “classic😭 #fail #kaboom #gymnastics #bars and it displayed a similar happening. How? It showed Livvy in her practice drills on the uneven bars. She was busy tumbling and all. But suddenly, her hands lost grip on the bar and she hit the floor with a terrific thud. Did she face any injury? Any update has yet to come on that. But the 22-year-old seemed to make fun of the accident. In the headline of the clip, she wrote, “Imagine you’re on the bar and suddenly…. KABOOM.”  The ‘kaboom’ sound surely didn’t bring a positive vibe for her fans.

Ten days ago, Olivia’s fans raised a serious issue about the scoring pattern for their idol’s performance. According to them, in the Quad meet, Olivia Dunne’s performance on the uneven bars wasn’t scored properly. The number, 9.725, stood “totally underscored,” to them. Did the social media star note this dissatisfaction? Perhaps yes. After the Quad or ESPN Invitational, she didn’t enter the uneven bars event routine in the duel against the Gators. But her latest practice video promotes Livvy’s desperation to prove herself in the routine.

In the Arkansas duel, Olivia Dunne might earn a call in the uneven bars routine. Kailin Chio’s failure to amass a big score (9.225) on Friday might pave the way for her entry. And here she went, shedding sweat and facing the fall in the practice session. Nonetheless, the New Jersey native has displayed no chance to move away from her route. Characters like these are bound to impress the fans. And for Livvy, there are a few special ones.

Olivia Dunne finds stars aligning with her

After Donald Trump’s decision, TikTok found its breath in the USA. The Chinese company-owned social media platform was on the brink of getting suspended in the USA. But after Trump’s announcement, TikTok now has time in hand to come clean. However, the added time has allowed Olivia Dunne to earn relief. She will continue to promote brands on the platform without facing any issues. For the last several weeks, the problem kept taking rounds at the discussion table. A straightforward ban could have landed Olivia in a bigger rank in the NIL list. Her chances of making deals on TikTok could have gone out of hand. But now things seem to be smooth. Olivia is in fourth position right now on the NIL list. Isn’t it a jackpot? Wait, there is another.

After the Quad meet in Oklahoma, Olivia Dunne shared an adorable snippet on her Instagram story. It had two kids emulating her moves on the balance beam and uneven bars. Surprisingly, they were doing those watching Dunne on the screen on the ESPN Invitational. They had also wished her good luck before the contest. Livvy dropped two words in the caption, “DREAM BIG.” Eventually, she was overjoyed watching little kids find inspiration from her. On Friday, would Olivia Dunne remember these positive happenings with her? What do you think?
