And as recently as today, one NFL quarterback put forward his desire to link up with Adams. Talking to ABC, Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr said he wishes to play with his former college teammate once again in the NFL.

“I would always welcome playing with him again. I think it would unlock some things in both of us that people haven’t seen yet. And I’m always open to that and I will be recruiting very hard. So when that time comes, it will be a full-court press,” said Carr.

Carr is well aware that a trade for Davante Adams is a near impossibility. The wide receiver is ready to play for the Packers in 2021 and the franchise too will not be entertaining any calls for their star wideout.

But next season should be interesting. A lot will play out depending on how the Aaron Rodgers saga unravels.
