Former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Boomer Esiason was on “The Manning Cast.” And apart from everything else, he also revealed the reason he doesn’t watch the show featuring Peyton Manning and his brother Eli.

Quite an appearance on the live cast he “doesn’t watch.”

The reason for not watching the show? Eli and Peyton Manning themselves

In the segment featuring Boomer Esiason, Eli Manning asked the former Bengals MVP Boomer Esiason that he had also said on his show that he doesn’t typically watch ‘The Manning Cast.’ He then reminded him about his comments on his show that this will be a “must watch TV.” Manning asked the former quarterback if there was a warning.

“No, you don’t have to worry about that. I am not Marshawn Lynch. You are not gonna have to beep me out tonight,” Esiason joked about the question. He was referring to Lynch’s frequent bursts of cuss words on camera.

Esiason then revealed the reason he doesn’t watch the show featuring Eli and his brother Peyton Manning.

“Ah Eli, I am just saying thank God you took that mask off. That’s all I am gonna tell you and I will say this you know; I find you guys to be distracting and you are too funny. Both of you guys together are funny and that’s what I was talking about, saying you know, you distract me from watching the game,” Esiason said. Quite a reason to not watch a show.

Boomer Esiason’s career

The guest on the show Eli and Peyton Manning is an NFL legend. The Cincinnati Bengals drafted Esiason in the 1984 NFL draft. The team picked the QB in the second round. And he became a franchise legend.

Esiason won the NFL MVP award with the Bengals in 1988. That was the season he made a Super Bowl appearance against the San Francisco 49ers but his attempt at the Super Bowl title fell short as the 49ers won a closely fought game. He also featured in the First team All pro that season.

The QB featured in the Pro Bowl three times with the Bengals in 1986, 1988, and 1989. He moved to the New York Jets in 1993 after nine years with the Bengals. The same year, he featured in his fourth and final Pro Bowl.

Esiason spent three years with the Jets and then moved to the Arizona Cardinals for a year. For his final season in 1997, Esiason returned to the Bengals.
