In the 2021 season, Buffalo Bills played the Kansas City Chiefs in a divisional-round playoff game. Before the game, while comparing the two teams, ESPN favored Josh Allen over Patrick Mahomes. ESPN had calculated a pre-game breakdown in which Buffalo Bills were ahead at the quarterback position.

Brittany Matthews, Mahomes’ fiance, and Jackson Mahomes did not take lightly the comparisons between the two quarterbacks.
Matthews, who now happens to be the wife of Patrick Mahomes, uploaded a story on her social media and lost her calm while doing so. One could hear her say, “One day, y’all will learn, to stop comparing people.” In the video, Chiefs QB’s brother, Jackson Mahomes, could also be seen.

Before the game, many analysts shared the same sentiments of Josh Allen being a greater QB than Mahomes.
Adam Schein of the CBS Sports Network said, “Let me tell you something, Josh Allen is the best quarterback on the field on Sunday. Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs, had a better combination and connection this season when you compare and contrast it to Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill.”
The NFL fans criticized Brittany Matthews’ champagne celebration
On 25th January 2021, the two sides met and played one of the most memorable games. Kansas City Chiefs defeated Buffalo Bills by 38-24. Mahomes and Allen both performed outstandingly.
Chiefs QB Mahomes completed 33 of 44 passes for 378 yards and three touchdowns. On the other hand, Josh Allen completed 27 of 37 passes for 329 yards and four touchdowns.

It was the celebration time for Matthews. She was sitting in the luxury suite in Arrowhead Stadium. After the win, Mahomes’ wife popped a bottle of champagne and sprayed it all over the football fans sitting below her box.

The recorded video of the champagne celebration went viral on social media. Moreover, her action drew some criticism, and the NFL fans were not happy with the behavior of the Mahomes. As the Chiefs were celebrating their team’s win, Mahomes ran to the Bills’ QB Josh Allen and hugged him tightly.
