The NFL offseason has brought the fans many stories to follow on their favorite footballers. The Packers to Jets trade for Aaron Rodgers shook the NFL community earlier this year. Meanwhile, Travis Kelce’s trip to the Oval Office brought forward the funny antics he brought on the Chiefs‘ presidential visit. Although Cousins didn’t make the front pages late until July, he too stole the hearts of fans with insights from the Quarterback documentary. After an eventful offseason, the three are back in the news for a unique competition on social media.

In the post by gmfb, they shared the mustache pictures of all four candidates in a battle royal format for the fans to decide the best. While the Chiefs TE and Jets QB boast of similar ‘staches to their name, their eyes are in contrast to the other. A-Rod gives off an amazing death stare into the abyss while Kelce’s eyes hold a mischievous kindness. Cousins, on the other hand, boasts of a Viking-esque mustache that droops all the way to his chin. McGovern meanwhile harbors one that brings back the memory of early Western America –  a mustache that holds authority.

Although the jury’s call is still out, the fans seem to have chosen their champion of mustaches from the candidates. Many might have expected it. Some may be surprised. But most fans supported Kirk Cousins. The Viking-esque mustache goes synonymously with the fact that he is the QB for the Minnesota Vikings. However, there were fans who chose differently from what most thought was obvious.

The Rodgers support would continue, as another fan added, “Rodgers looks the best”.

But it would only go on so far as the Kirk Cousins hype train got back on track, “Kirk by a mile”.

While the Rodgers and Cousins fans argued their case for their QB, a few chimed in for Travis Kelce too, with one fan commenting a single word in favor of the TE, “Trav”.

With the mustache argument apparently sealed and delivered, fans will hope Cousins can deliver a similar level of dominance in the upcoming NFL season.
