But the moment he shared with LaFleur on the sidelines apparently looked like a heated exchange and instantly caught the fans’ attention. The reporters asked him the reason for being frustrated despite leveling the points to 28-28 in the final minute of the fourth quarter.

“Just every single play call probably,” Rodgers said about their spat. “Felt like we were 30 yards from winning the game in regulation,” he added. Indeed, the Packers were short of 33 yards, and after getting possession of the ball, they made two running plays.

Soon LaFleur decided to pass the ball instead of running it and eventually turned out to be an incomplete attempt. Rodgers believed if they had kept the ball, the result would have arrived earlier without going into overtime.

“A lot of times when we get in those situations, we give Aaron a lot of freedom to run the show. Today, he does a great job with it. So hindsight is 20–20. That’s on me,” Rodgers said, per Ryan Wood.

“Last week was definitely a low, rock bottom-ish for sure… I felt like it was only up from there—A lot of demons were exorcised today,” he added via Rob Demovsky.
