The Duo of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski is significant in football history. The quarterback and tight end have made some amazing plays together. This is a connection that never gets old. Brady and Gronk are connecting for the 90th time.

In the game against the Atlanta Falcons, Rob Gronkowski scored two touchdowns. The first touchdown made by the tight end was in the middle of the second quarter.

The line of scrimmage was near the 40yard line. Brady made a quick play and threw the ball like a bullet. The shot hit the bullseye as it found Gronk near the 20yard line. He carried it all the way and made touchdown number 89.

Brady and Gronk is a tale as old as time…

The 90th touchdown came late in the third quarter. It was a fade towards the corner of the end zone. This was Gronk’s second touchdown of the day. “We go way back, back in the heyday with that connection,” said Gronkowski. “I would say that second touchdown definitely brought it back to the heyday with the fade. He gave me an audible, and I wasn’t supposed to have a fade, but he saw it, and it just reminded me of the heyday with us.”

When Brady was informed about the nostalgic comments Gronk made about the second touchdown, he said, “Oh, really? I like the heyday,”

Brady and Gronkowski still have a lot of gas left in their tanks to make more snaps together. 

 “I think so. It’s good to see him make those plays. He was out for quite a while this year, so just to see him back playing great and really enjoying it is fun for me. It’s fun seeing other guys play to their potential. He’s done an amazing job of that.” said Tom Brady.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are to break another record soon

With two more touchdowns added to their names, Brady and Gronk are now the second-highest duos with the most touchdown connections in the regular season. They are behind the Hall of Famers Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison. Manning and Harrison have made 112 touchdowns together. Brady and Gronk just passed the record of Philip Rivers and Antonio Gates, who are now third with 89 touchdowns together.

Seeing the impressive records Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have achieved throughout their legendary careers, this one won’t elude them for a long time either. Eventually, the duo will find themselves leading this chart as well.
