But the fans love it whenever that happens, and it looks like they have found the character that they wanted in a HC. The reaction was really hilarious for a guy who is on TV regularly. But that is exactly what makes him a fan favorite. Apart from his team’s performance that is.

The Miami resurgence

Mike McDaniel has led the Dolphins to a resurgence of sorts. He finished the season with a 9-8 overall record and a wildcard place in the AFC playoff picture. And what was even more interesting was that the Dolphins had reached their first postseason since 2016.

The franchise doesn’t have a great record in the playoffs since the turn of the century. They have reached the postseason only time since the 2000 season. And the team looks good under the young coach with some unorthodox methods. Although they lost narrowly to the Buffalo Bills, they can be optimistic for the next season.

McDaniel sure has become the fan favorite with the Dolphins faithful as well as the wider NFL community.
