USC Football Head Coach Lincoln Riley is setting foot towards a luxurious lifestyle, and his purchase is a solid example. According to Dirt‘s Wendy Bowman, the historic Spanish Revival-style property known as the “Roessler Estate,” once the home of Fred Roessler, the first mayor of Palos Verdes Peninsula, is the coach’s new L.A.-area home. Riley owns the place for a discounted cost of $17.2M than that of the initial $19.5 million asking rates.

The stucco and terracotta-roof design, nestled on a private, 3.17-acre land looking over the ocean in the Palos Verdes Estates. Inside, wooden floorboards, wood-beaming ceilings, customized murals, antique light fittings, and smooth interior finish throughout the 13,000 square feet of living space, having two different levels.

Extravagant amenities include an elevator, seven fireplaces, a film-screening room, tennis court, golf green, sauna + steam room, 600-bottle wine storage, a detached guest house, and a picturesque ocean and coastline view from every room.

The journey to USC Trojans

Coach Lincoln Riley takes over the massive acquisition after negotiating a long-term contract with USC in November worth approximately $110 million. Even though the contract amount is undisclosed by private institutions, Riley can be the top-paid college coach if the numbers are true. He left past Oklahoma, where he was serving as Sooners’ head coach for the past five years.

Speaking to the reporters, he mentions his departure from Oklahoma, stating, “It was tough to leave the place I left. But at the same time, I knew this was the right thing.” Moreover, Riley calls it a surreal moment to be in Los Angeles. The Skyline and the Hollywood sign have the coach intrigued.
