Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill recently shared his views on his teammate and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The former Super Bowl-winning wideout believes Tagovailoa has a tougher job on the field. Hill admitted he considers calling and remembering plays during games a challenge. While Hill’s claims are bound to raise eyebrows among the Dolphins fans, the franchisee will bank on their chemistry in the upcoming season.

During a recent episode of his podcast, ‘It Needed To Be Said,’ Hill stated, “Man it’s definitely tough to be a quarterback man because I can remember some practices in our OTAs man. Well, like I didn’t know the play I was looking at you, like can you tell me to play and he’ll have to tell me to route. So that quarterback you definitely got to know every route on the field and where that person has to line up man.”

He believes Tua’s job gets considerably tougher during games as he acts as the orchestrator of their offense. Hill seems to praise Tagovaiola as the modern-day NFL QB who has become the key to their success. The dynamic duo will try to find synergy within the entire roster while aiming to make some noise.

Is Tua Tagovailoa’s success more crucial to Miami Dolphins’ plans than the highest-paid WR Tyreek Hill?

The expectations have never been higher for Hill and Tagovailoa, as their production will dictate the success of the Dolphins. However, the pressure will be immense on Tagovailoa and his performance. Tagovailoa was the 5th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Dolphins fans are waiting for a breakout year from their franchise QB nearly every passing season.

But Hill’s high praise comes after leaving the Kansas City Chiefs and superstar QB Patrick Mahomes. His praise for Tagovailoa will be a morale booster. The blockbuster trade saw Hill becoming the highest-paid WR in the NFL with a salary of $30 million.

It is a significant salary compared to his franchise QB, who earns a $7.5 million salary.

Despite their salary differences, Hill will count on Tagovailoa’s service to lead the franchise to the NFL playoffs. The Cheetah has met or exceeded expectations in the NFL. It just might be Hill who unlocks Tagovailoa’s potential in 2022.
