Tom Brady shined through the NFL world because of many reasons. The seven-time Super Bowl champion has etched a legacy that will be hard to follow by the future generation of players. We always knew Brady for his hard work and dedication to the game. Apart from this, he had a winner’s mentality. This is the prime reason why Brady never gave up, even in difficult situations, and went on to build a historical name for himself. After joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from the New England Patriots in 2020, Brady led the Bucs to win the Super Bowl LV.

Despite retiring from the NFL after a last season with the Bucs in 2022, his former teammates recall how the GOAT boosted his own morale because of TB12’s personality and never-giving-up attitude, leading them to the Super Bowl LV win.

Lavonte David recalls the blunt winning declaration made by Tom Brady

During an interview on the Rich Eisen show, Rich asked Lavonte David about his favorite Tom Brady story from his days with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His teammates at the Bucs respected Brady because of his hunger for winning and also the dedication put into every game played on the field.

He stood out as a source of inspiration for every member of the team during difficult times. David recalls how, after a setback of losing streaks, Tom Brady said that they will turn the whole thing around and move on to winning games altogether.

David said, “My favorite Tom Brady story I believe we was 7-5 going into the bye week in 2020 before we made the run. And I remember, it was uh, we had like a two-game losing streak or three-game losing streak one of them. And I remember during the bye week, me and Tom ran into each other and he came to me and he was like, ‘Trust me, we gonna turn this thing around. We not gonna lose another game. And that kind of stood out to me and we didn’t lose another game and went on to win the Super Bowl.”

Brady continues his winning mentality even after retirement 

Even after retiring from the game more than a month ago, Brady continues his winning formula in life through his various other ventures. The GOAT recently kept himself rooted in the world of sports by investing to become a part owner of the WNBA team the Las Vegas Aces. TB12 said he had a lot of admiration for women in sports and hoped that the team could go on to achieve wonderful things in life.

Apart from this, Brady also invested in collaborating with the HERTZ-sponsored JOTA sports car team. As the NFL GOAT steps in to delve into the realms of other sports, he will be looking forward to helping other talented young athletes rise to the top, as he did in his career.
