Even though the defending champions played with the majority of their starters, the influence of Tom Brady resulted in an overhaul of successful passes, especially in the first two quarters. Subsequently, there’s no denying that Brady has been in an exceptional form lately.

His presence has a deep impact on all the teammates he works with, as it’s not just the player but the winning mentality that he carries, takes over the entire team. The seven time Super Bowl winner has enough tricks under his belt that he could turn any team into a better version of them.

Brady’s tremendously successful 2020-21 season with the Bucs seems to continue in a never ending fashion. However, his absence might prove to be fatal for the franchise. It was evident that the Buccaneers struggled to complete passes after the substitution of the reigning Super Bowl MVP.

The first intercepted pass by Blaine Gabbert showed that the Bucs lack depth in quality Quarterbacks. The last two quarters were clearly dominated by the Texans in what was seen as the absence of a creative game maker by the Buccaneers.

However, with the likes of experienced wide receivers, Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown, the team covered 128 yards, received 7 passes and managed to score a touchdown with them. The rookie Jaelon Darden is also on the lookout to improve his stats game after game, as the mentorship received by him from Brady has started to take shape.

However, Tom Brady seems to be in his championship form and brutal to his opponents. With just less than a fortnight to go for the season to start, their first hurdle would be the Cowboys at their home. Let’s see what plays out for the Bucs this season, and if they emerge victorious to add on a second Super Bowl to their supposedly winning streak.
