The next three games will define the season for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After an underwhelming season so far, Brady and Co. stare at a do-or-die situation in the remainder of the regular season. And Brady knows how to ace the situation, as he has several times over the course of his career. The seven-time Super Bowl champion spelled out his three Es that will help him to overcome the last hurdle to the playoffs.

Tom Brady focusing on the three Es

Tom Brady talked about his plan for the next three games of the 2022 regular season on the latest episode of his ‘Let’s Go’ podcast. He laid out the three Es that he is focusing on helping the team reach the playoffs.“I gotta do the best job at these next three weeks that I can with my energy, enthusiasm, and emotions directed in the appropriate way at everyone. My coaches, my teammates, the opponent, my personal life, all those things have to be focused in the right way,” Brady said.

The Buccaneers have underperformed this season and will miss out on the playoffs if the next three games don’t go their way. And Brady hopes to avoid it.

The Buccaneers’ struggles

The Buccaneers have struggled both offensively and defensively since the start of the 2022 season. They are one of the lowest-scoring offenses in the league. While their defense has looked solid at times, the team hasn’t been able to force that many turnovers so far. And amidst all that, Tom Brady is looking like a shadow of his former self.

This season is officially the worst in Brady’s more than two decades old career eight losses already. His previous worst was a 9-7 season with the New England Patriots exactly two decades ago. But even at his worst, Brady is third in the league in terms of passing yardage with 3,897 yards. Surely another 4,000+ yards season is well within reach.

But the QB would think about the bigger picture, the playoff spot for the Buccaneers. Can he lead them back to the promised land?
