Derek Carr has caused quite a stir in the NFL world. The QB has been in the middle of what feels like a career-span’s worth of drama. With just two games remaining to close out the regular season, Carr has reportedly stepped away from the Las Vegas Raiders.
At 6-9, the Raiders have made the decision to bench the QB for the remainder of the regular season. This turn of events is quite interesting for the NFL world. But some individuals are undoubtedly furious. One of them includes Carr’s associate, who didn’t hesitate to take a shot at the Raiders.

Derek Carr has a loyal individual on his back
It always feels good to have people around you who have your back. Robert Carr proved that via his tweet. From the looks of it, the Raiders sideline photographer is not going to let this slide. Carr quote tweeted news of Cowboys QB Dak Prescott’s 14-interception statistic. Obviously comparing his brother’s current predicament to the news about Prescott, he sardonically wrote, “So should the Cowboys remove him from the team too?!?” No one can miss the anger laced in his words.

But what does the future look like for Carr? The QB signed a $121.5 million contract last season. His contract also includes a no-trade clause. So if the Raiders do plan on trading him, Carr has the power to steer any decision.
NFL world provides a mixed bag of reactions to Robert Carr’s comments
The NFL world, which has witnessed all of this drama from the outside, had thoughts of its own. This user agrees with Robert Carr and states that Prescott had more room for error because of the Cowboys’ solid defense.
This is the hypocrisy "What's his record" where cowboys defense carried them half the year. Dak has way more margin for error. That's what playing team football is like. But I digress lol

Carr misses too many open passes. Either throws short or overthrows. Sometimes completely overlooks wide open receivers. Perhaps it was time to move on and try something different. It will be a good thing for him as well

Derek Carr has only missed three games in nine years, all due to injury. But now, the QB will find himself excluded from both starter and backup roles. The Raiders will face the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs in the last two games. They will start Jarrett Stidham as QB, with practice squad QB Chase Garbers as a backup.
