JJ Watt’s wife Kealia Ohai Watt posted a heart-touching tribute for the retiring NFL veteran. Kealia wrote her tribute on Watt’s retirement tweet, which had a family photo after the game against the Buccaneers.
“Koa’s first ever NFL game. My last ever NFL home game. My heart is filled with nothing but love and gratitude. It’s been an absolute honor and a pleasure,” Watts wrote with an on-field family photo.
His wife retweeted his post with a tribute for the veteran saying she was proud to be his wife. Here is Kealia’s tweet.

Watt announced his retirement on Tuesday after his last home game ended in a defeat. Tom Brady and the Buccaneers defeated the Cardinals in OT to keep their playoff hopes intact. But the NFL world will never forget the DE’s presence in the league.

Watt started his NFL career with the Houston Texans in 2011 as a first-round draft pick. He played 10 seasons at the NRG Stadium, establishing himself as one of the best in his position. He then joined the Arizona Cardinals last season and continued his legacy there.
Watt led the NFL in sacks twice in his career, in the 2012 and 2015 seasons. The four-time Pro Bowler won the defensive player of the year award in the 2012, 2014, and 2015 seasons. What a career. What a player. It would be interesting to see what the future holds for him.
