Odell Beckham Jr. has started the process of finalizing his future franchise. After announcing last week about the upcoming meetings with the chosen teams, OBJ went about on the job to find his next destination in the league. However, contrary to expectations, the Dallas Cowboys facility wasn’t his first stop.

OBJ dropped in at the New York Giants camp and met with the team. Beckham even had dinner with Giants head coach Brian Daboll. And the Bills are next in line to meet the most coveted wide receiver free agent in the NFL right now. The athlete will be ending his trip with the meeting with the Cowboys on Monday according to NFL insider, Tom Pelissero.

The Giants locker room loved Odell Beckham Jr. and thinks the wide receiver’s addition to the roster is a legitimate threat to any opposition defense in the league. “The energy he brings, the swagger he plays with, the playmaking ability he has. Moment he steps in a locker room he automatically makes that team better,” NY Giants RB Saquon Barkley said.

Troy Aikman is pretty sure Dallas is winning the race for Odell Beckham Jr.

The Dallas Cowboys have things working their way this season. With the offense and defense both pulling their parts, Mike McCarthy’s Cowboys look like legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Dak Prescott and Tony Pollard are leading the offense and OBJ will be a lethal addition to the already in-form CeeDee Lamb. Former Cowboys Super Bowl-winning QB Troy Aikman thinks the smell of a second Super Bowl and the media attention associated with Dallas will be too hard to reject for Odell Beckham Jr.

“I’d bet virtually everything I have on it,” Troy said about OBJ’s arrival. The 3x champion displayed utmost confidence in Dallas owner Jerry Jones and said, “If he’s [Jerry Jones] wanted something to happen, it’s happened.”

Giants coach Brian Daboll addressed the meeting in a press conference. He said that the day’s meetings with Odell Beckham Jr. were a pleasant visit. However, there was no official confirmation from Daboll. “We had a good dinner. Had a great steak,” Brian said while putting his focus on the Washington Commanders for their next game.

The Super Bowl LVI champion makes his way on to upstate New York all the way to Rochester, where he’ll be meeting the Buffalo Bills. Josh Allen and OBJ sound like a cheat code Super Bowl combination. The Giants can give Odell a long-term deal to his liking. However, Dallas is still the front-runner according to experts and insiders.
