It is no exaggeration when people say that Gisele Bündchen has stormed into the limelight since her divorce from Tom Brady. It was a tough situation to deal with, but she is doing well now. However, it was not the same situation for Bündchen in her 20s. Despite living the lavish life of a Victoria’s Secret model, deep down, she was having suicidal thoughts.

Gisele Bündchen, during her heyday as a Victoria’s Secret Model, had enough money to live a luxurious. But the supermodel was unhappy and nearly jumped off her apartment in New York.

The Brazilian diva wasn’t always happy despite her wealthy status

The Brazilian supermodel expressed her thoughts in her autobiography, ‘Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life’. She expressed how she was not content with her life. Gisele wrote, “In that moment, the only answer seemed to be to jump. It is terrifying to see how suddenly despair can take over a brain and hijack it, just like that. Somehow, I made it back inside my apartment. The idea of jumping was replaced by another thought, this one shaky but firm: ‘Okay, Gise, that’s it. Now listen. Listen to yourself.’”

Gisele made an appointment with her doctor first thing the next morning, recognizing she was in even more distress. She told him about her current mental state. However, she was skeptical about taking the prescribed drug route for her misery.

The Brazilian bombshell eventually made her way through that difficult period and is now living a single life around her kids. After returning to the glamorous zone of modeling, she was dancing it out for the Carnival.

After leaving Tom Brady behind, Gisele Bündchen is moving on with her life and is now getting into the joy of Brazil’s Carnival. The annual Brazilian fiesta will kick off on Feb. 17 to Feb. 22 in Rio de Janeiro. The supermodel took to Instagram to share a clip of her shaking a leg with the famed choreographer Justin Neto.

The supermodel was grooving to Marisa Monte’s ‘Balança Pema’ while sporting a black sports bra and gray leggings. She captioned the video, “Getting in the mood for carnival!” 

The Brazilian diva certainly looked happy in the video clip.
