But that task is easier said than done. The side will come under the scanner, as teams will be weary of the challenge that the side poses. And NFL analyst Stephen A. Smith believes that one side is likely to make life more difficult than others for the Bucs.

Tom Brady set to be challenged by Russell Wilson     

During a segment of First Take, Smith said that in the NFC, one side stands out for him that could pose a real threat to the Bucs challenge.  

“It’s the Seahawks. I’m thinking about Russell Wilson. I’m thinking about DK Metcalf. I’m thinking about the fact that some of the things that were bothering Russell Wilson has been handled,” said Smith.

Wilson had earlier flagged the Seahawks’ lack of cover on the O-Line. Rumors did the rounds that this could force the QB out of Seattle, but that news seems to have died down.

Smith downplayed the chances of the 49ers and the Rams due to their respective concerns at the quarterback position.

“I still think there are still some question marks with Jimmy Garoppolo in San Fran. Stafford even though he’s got a lot to prove is a question mark in LA. Let’s see what they do.”

Given where the other teams in the conference stand, Smith suggested that the Seahawks have the best shot at usurping Tampa’s crown. 

“So I’m looking at the Seattle Seahawks led by Russell Wilson as being the legitimate threat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,” he added.

Wilson and the Seahawks have faltered in the playoffs over the past few seasons. But with Metcalf set to take his game to the next level in his second season, odds are the side from Seattle can soon find themselves in the Super Bowl yet again.
