However, all these efforts went in vain because the scoreboard displayed a 30-29 loss for Derek Carr and Co by the end of the final whistle. Despite exhibiting a fabulous performance, this result didn’t seem to go well with the receiver. He was clearly frustrated and walking back to the locker room, a cameraman bumped his path.

Without a second thought, Adams shoved the guy who happens to be a freelance working student for ESPN’s Monday Night Football, with both hands and walked past him into the tunnel.

This incident took no time to spread like a wildfire. It received several reactions from veterans and fans all across the world. Certainly, Sharpe couldn’t get through Adams’ behavior and tried his best to analyze the receiver’s mindset.

“You were so close. You had a 17-point lead to fight your way back in the seat when we’re riding on it.” Share said about the game. “We’re gonna put ourselves in a position to kick a game-winning field goal. We’re gonna go home and go into the bye week.”

“Two and one, two and four and three, which is a lot better than one and four. But lo and behold, you know, and then we collide….how embarrassing is that? And sad to see on a board that collides like that. But it’s just he frustrated.” the veteran explained the issue in detail.

Will Davante Adams go to prison?

As soon as this incident happened, per reports, the student lodged a police report complaining that he experienced a headache and a possible minor concussion. The case has been escalated to Kansas City, Missouri, Municipal Court, and the final resolution on the matter is yet to arrive.

Per the charges filed against the NFL wideout, he might get a maximum sentence of 180 days in jail and a fine of as much as $1000. However, the possibility of happening so is quite minimal. Even before hearing a final verdict, both parties may settle.

“Here’s the reality. Adams won’t spend a day in jail. Even if he takes the case all the way to trial and loses, he’ll get probation or a suspended sentence or something other than being required to spend a minute behind bars.” according to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio. Well, fans can tune in for further updates; hopefully, the matter gets resolved soon.
