Both Rodgers and Woodley have been sending their fans mixed messages with recent attempts to work on their relationship. Nearly a month following, the pair calling off their engagement, both Rodgers and Woodley were seen getting cozy. They appear happy in each other’s company. Woodley was sitting on Rodgers’ lap as they hung out with friends on an outdoor wine-tasting patio with expansive vineyard views.

A source close to the People did present a positive picture of Rodgers and Woodley and encouraged fans of the pair. Even Rodgers was looking at ease with his former fiancee while sipping a glass of wine. The Emmy nominated actress did complement the Packers QB with a low-key look for their outing.

There seems to be a genuine attempt from both Rodgers and Woodley despite hesitancy from the latter to make their relationship work. They even went far ahead to attend a wedding together with Rodgers’ teammate and offensive lineman David Bakhtiari.

There are signs of a resurgence of their relationship between the pair, but it seems they are sticking to following their process.

Despite the bad optics in the recent photos of Woodley, Rodgers will be shifting focus back to football soon. After re-signing with the Packers this offseason, the spotlight is on him delivering another Super Bowl championship in Wisconsin. It seems having a spotlight both on and off the field is something that both Rodgers and Woodley wouldn’t want.
