Rob Gronkowski and his fiance, Camille Kostek, had been in a relationship since 2015. Even though Gronk remains neutral about his future in the NFL, Kostek has her opinion about the tight end. She wants Gronk to play with Brady and the Buccaneers for the upcoming season. “I think she wants me to go back,” the 32-year-old veteran told PEOPLE in a recent interview.“She supports me for sure.” Gronk added. After playing for nine seasons with the New England Patriots, Gronk maintained a strong relationship with Tom Brady.

Their bond became so strong that even after Brady left for the Buccaneers, Gronk eventually came out of his 13 months retirement and joined Brady in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Speaking to the news outlet at the rehearsals for Saturday’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, Gronkowski said, “There’s one thing. If I do play football, though, it would be with the Bucs,”.

He says that his 30-year-old fiance feels the same about the decision. “She just loves that team. Loves the other wives and girlfriends on the team, too. It’s a great combo over there for sure,” he added. The veteran also mentioned that he is living in the moment for now. “The season doesn’t start for another three, or four months. So it’s great not to be signed with a team because it’s just that freedom,” the NFL legend says.

Can Rob Gronkowski have his chances of playing with the Buccaneers?

As for now, the Buccaneers have just two tight ends under contract for the 2022 season, Brate and McElroy. So, Rob Gronkowski on the roster would be an attractive catch that Buccaneers must look for. However, the team will have to make certain adjustments in their salary cap space, as they are currently $3 million over the 2022 salary cap.
