The supposed trade talks for Carr did kick off in the last offseason but didn’t materialize to the luck of the Raiders franchise. Playing in the AFC conference, Carr finished the regular season in the fifth position in the league in total passing yards and made the playoffs for the first time in 8 years.

The recruitment of McDaniels as head coach is going to make the postseason a regularity for the 3-time Pro Bowl QB.
