Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson might be getting himself in hot water with recent activity on social media. The former league MVP Jackson tagged a user’s post about the all-new emojis by multinational technology company Apple. The Ravens QB was intrigued with some of their new emojis and posted his question on social media to gain clarifications.

His confusion and innocent appearing question seem to have rubbed some users the wrong way. Some of the users were trying to let Jackson know he is getting canceled for his remarks. While others were trying to protect him from the wrath of the comments section.

The Ravens QB’s attempt to understand the meaning behind Apple’s new emojis is very bold. There remains a sensitivity in the current climate of the world about matters of the communities that identify with them. Jackson’s attempt to explore the reasons behind Apple’s motive for releasing them only shows his intrigue about the subject.

He shows his boldness off the field with his footballing abilities on the field as well. He is part of a new wave of dual-threat quarterbacks, who can beat teams with his arm or legs. Jackson is one of the daring QBs in the NFL, who is a willing runner if it means winning football games. 

Jackson shows his qualities on the football field whenever he gets a challenge. While last season did raise doubts about his qualities, the injury did hamper any chance to redeem himself. In what could have been a building block towards upward progression, Jackson will be looking to take the challenge that lies ahead with the same fervor.
