The Green Bay shined at their second preseason home game and flushed out any concern over the offensive side. As the franchise gears up for the regular season, the Aaron Rodgers-led offense has a positive roster update. After coming off the PUP list, WR Christian Watson would gear up for the team reps by next week.

WR Watson spoke after Green Bay‘s Sunday practice. He acknowledged via Packersnews.com “It felt really good.” He also added that HC Matt LaFleur allowed him to keep the game jersey for as long as he wanted. Christian quoted, “He was like, ‘no you look good, leave it on’… even if he didn’t tell me to leave it on, I probably would have left it on anyway; it felt really good. It’s better than street clothes.”

This week marks the next step in the Packers’ young receiver’s comeback to the pitch. As per Packers Wire, Matt LaFleur stated Christian Watson will begin participating in team (11-on-11) sessions on Sunday. The Packers HC would monitor how he responds.

Watson might make his National Football League premiere in the preseason finale against the Chiefs in Kansas City. However, that is subject to witness if this week of training goes smoothly and without interruption.

Aaron Rodgers’ Best Friend Is Back!

After not putting a fixture on his return, Aaron Rodgers‘ best friend, no. 69 is back for some defense, as LT David Bakhtiari is off the PUP list. As per reports, on Sunday, Matt LaFleur reported Bakhtiari is officially ready to start practice. Later that afternoon, he was out on the ground working with the unit in pads. Moreover, ESPN’s Rob Demovsky saw him playing a new position.

The rise of Bakhtiari and his activation from the PUP list could mean that he should start the regular season. However, the squad may take his return to the field slow to assess his knee before the season kickoff. But the return of the LT to the match-day squadron would be a big boost for the Packers’ pass rush. Will the fans see jersey number 69 in the regular season opener? It is subject to witness.
