The next few days will be exciting times in the Odell Beckham Jr. household. It could be in the form of a super bowl trophy or a newborn baby. Both OBJ and his partner, Lauren Wood, are expecting the birth of their baby amongst the approaching Super Bowl LVI. The Rams wideout claimed himself to be ‘on standby’ as he prepares for two of the biggest occasions of his career as a player and a parent.

OBJ cleared his position while refusing to dwell on decisions to make if both events do indeed coincide. While talking about the exciting times, he states, “…I’d have to make a call back to him and ask him to wait 36 hours.”
Odell Beckham’s partner is due to have their son any minute now. “I’m on standby,” Beckham said. So, what if that call comes Sunday morning? “I’d have to make a call back to him and ask him to wait 36 hours.”

The statement though, a joke, brings out the commitment OBJ has to the Rams and to get the job done. But he also adds that he will be looking to see the birth of his first child.

The Rams find themselves in a good spot to win the NFL’s headline event this year. They are coming up against a young Cincinnati Bengals team playing in a Super Bowl for the first time since 1988.
Odell Beckham Jr ready to bring it home
Since being a Rams player, Odell Beckham Jr has seen a career resurgence and is in with a chance to grab some silverware for his efforts. The victory in the Super Bowl has other monetary benefits that he and his family can benefit from. The Rams enter the game as one of the favorites to win it all, considering having so many stars in their roster.

OBJ will be running the routes with fellow WR Cooper Kupp, who has been having a record-breaking season by himself. Being one of the more recognizable faces in the NFL, this is a golden opportunity for OBJ to enhance its reputation. He was a crucial player in the run through the playoffs as he made important catches to set his team up for victory.
The game will be on his mind, but he will be looking to welcome his baby with high spirits. A huge turning point for any athlete is successful in their career and any parent the birth of their children. There will be a party nonetheless of the result of the Super Bowl LVI but OBJ will be hoping to have to celebrate two things together.
