NFL insider Ian Rapoport was the first to report that AFC North franchise Cleveland Browns is displaying an interest in the experienced NFL pass rusher, Jadeveon Clowney. The former 2014 first-overall pick spent time with Seattle Seahawks and the Titans in recent years.

He is currently recovering from a knee injury and is eager to make a comeback with a strong NFL franchise in 2021. The Browns are joining the race for his signature, however, nothing is confirmed yet.

Surely he will make a fine addition in Ohio playing along with some promising young stars like Baker Mayfield, Myles Garrett, and Nick Chubb. Plus, the Browns already brought in a promising pass rusher last week by signing former Atlanta Falcons first-round pick Takk McKinley to a one-year contract worth $4.25 million.

Who remembers the time Clowney showed up on The Jimmy Fallon Show and did the 40-yard dash along with his host? If you don’t, here’s a refresher.

Another team that will try to move for Clowney in 2021 is the AFC East franchise, Miami Dolphins. Coach Brian Flores tried to sign Clowney in 2020, but he eventually agreed on a deal with the Titans.

But after an underwhelming time in Nashville, the Dolphins could pounce on their defensive target in order to bolster their own playoff hopes in 2021.
