According to OBJ, the offensive struggles of the team were because of Eli Manning. Later, Cleveland Browns acquired him. He experienced his first ACL tear with the team in 2020. That put him on the injured reserve list. Then, in 2021, he was excused from two practices that brought outrage on social media by Beckham’s father. The release of OBJ from the Browns gained a lot of attention on the internet.

Then in 2021, he signed a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams. There, he achieved a Super Bowl title. However, because of his second injury, he could only play till the second quarter. OBJ did not return. As far as Beckham joining the Giants is concerned, they do need strong wide receivers on their roster. Also, the Giants have substantial cap space available which can lure OBJ to the team.
