In fact, statistically, last year was amongst his best. Tom Brady’s longevity is certainly mind-numbing, and according to his social media, much of the credit goes to his wife.

The NFL power couple have been together since 2009 and have only gone from strength to strength over the years. Their social media banter and PDA is adorable, but this time they gave fans a real scare. Tom Brady and his wife, Gisele Bundchen last night, raised eyebrows on Twitter with the quarterback’s better half teasing trade talks.

Tom Brady, who is very active on Twitter randomly tweeted how he is missing the fall. “Missing fall this year,” the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback tweeted. Keeping the quarterback’s birthplace and considering how he spent more than half of his life in California, his fans took it as a normal tweet.

Brady grew up in San Mateo, California, but had spent over half of his life in places with lower temperatures and more frequent seasonal changes. What looked like a simple tweet soon turned upside down when Brady’s wife re-tweeted it, sparking a trade rumor.

Soon after the quarterback tweeted, his wife quote tweeted asking her hubby if it’s “time for a trade?”. This tweet sent fans and Brady into a frenzy as people started speculating about a dream return to New England Patriots.

Unfortunately, the speculations were short-lived as Brady himself seemingly squashed it. The seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback appeared a bit surprised by his wife’s tweet and cheekily asked her if he had missed something. “Did I miss something??” he responded.
