Former Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback, Jalen Ramsey, once gave a very opinionated interview to the GQ. Maybe they made him feel super comfortable. However, a few of his expressions did not sit well with the then Detroit Lions QB’s wife. Getting charged after reading the story, she went after him on Instagram to ask a few questions.

Interviewers asked Ramsey about his opinions on different NFL players. He could not hold his tongue. Maybe even made many players mad. About Matthew Stafford, he had a lukewarm response. “I think he’s straight. I don’t think he the best quarterback out there,” Ramsey told GQ. “But he do what he gotta do.”

In response to that, Kelly Stafford hopped on Instagram to post a story. She posted, “Can someone tell me why [GQ magazine] is interviewing [Jalen Ramsey]? I understand espn…but not GQ…there is nothing “GQ” about him,” Kelly wrote. “Just seems like a complete waste of time and space.”

Jalen Ramsey got suspended and other trash-talk directed at the NFL players

The Jaguars suspended the 27-year-old cornerback. He and DE Dante Fowler violated team rules. The players were involved in an altercation after practice. Ramsey directed profanities to media members. They were recording the fight. As a result, neither made the trip to Minnesota for joint practice and a preseason game.

Ramsey is also known for his mean trash-talk. In the GQ interview, he talked against many noteworthy players. For instance, he compared the former Rams WR Odell Beckham to the New York Giants iron man, Eli Manning. The interviewee believed OBJ is better than Manning. Reporters asked Manning about Ramsey’s critiques, and the QB asked in a saucy manner, “Who?”

Are Ramsey and Matthew Stafford on good terms?

Jalen Ramsey called Josh Allen from Buffalo Bills “trash.” When asked which quarterback did not suck, he let out names like Aaron Rodgers from the Packers, NFL GOAT Tom Brady of the Bucs, and Marcus Mariota from the Atlanta Falcons. He does like some great athletes.

Well, in recent years, Ramsey was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in 2019. Yes, the same team Matthew Stafford won his first Super Bowl with. Have they gone on to become good buddies? It seems like they have. Or at least Jalen Ramsey appreciates Matthew Stafford the way his wife wanted him to.
