Being in the league for as long as he’s been, Tom Brady has built a reputation of being a fierce competitor. A seven-time Super Bowl winner, Brady’s desire to win and competitive edge makes him a menace to play against.

Appearing on multiple talks shows and even making Tik Toks in his spare time, Tom Brady clearly has different personas on and off the field. So what is it like to share a locker room with the GOAT? Buccaneers O-linesman Tristan Wirfs recently gave us some insight.

Dad jokes galore when it comes to Tom Brady

Tampa Bay Buccaneers O-linesman is one lucky fellow. Getting to play alongside Brady, the O-linesman picked up his first Super Bowl ring in just his rookie season.

And when whether it was an intense experience sharing a locker room with the quarterback, Wirfs responded that it’s actually far from the case.

“It was at first but then like getting to know him like in the locker room like he is. He’s got a lot of dad jokes in his pocket. Once you know him in the locker room, it definitely makes sense,” Wirfs said while talking to the media after training.

Wirfs though lauded Brady for his intensity on the field and said how the quarterback is as great as he is for his ability to criticize and learn from his own mistakes. And that in turn is something that pushes the rest of the squad as well.

“I think he’s one of his own biggest critics. I know he’s very hard on himself. He expects a lot out of himself and I think that kind of radiates onto everybody else,” said Wirfs.

The Buccaneers are now looking to run it back. Retaining all their starters from Super Bowl LV, the franchise has made sure to keep the core together. Whether or not they’ll be able to pull it off, only time shall tell. But with Tom Brady on the roster anything is possible.
