As those interested will be looking to add the running back to their roster, Cook has wasted little time in seeking a new contract, after being released earlier this year.

The Chiefs have been on the lookout for an RB for a while now. And Dalvin Cook might be the answer for them and their issues in the position. They will need to act fast, as there are teams exploring Cook as their new RB.

The New York Jets could yet continue their offseason exploits by making a move for Dalvin Cook. They are said to be exploring the possibilities of signing the former Minnesota man alongside Youthful Powerhouse, Miami Dolphins. Cook states in a recent conversation, “as a running back you know you look for a certain scheme and I know it’s I know the scheme that I’m good in and that’s outside Zone.” He lats goes on to add that he would be interested in signing for the Dolphins.

The statement will add to the team’s decision-making process for Cook in their team. Dalvin Cook has been open about his intent to play for his hometown team, Miami Dolphins. The team has been undergoing a youthful resurgence, with a young coach and a relatively young squad in the league. With other options potentially waiting to make a move. But despite the desire for RB, the position has apparently not experienced a resurgence of late.

The Running Back’s running issue

NFL is one of the richest leagues in the world. The riches offered have seen them break barriers for some of the highest-paid contracts in the world of sports. But one position has failed to keep up with the growing trend. Running Backs have not managed to keep up with the growing paychecks in the league. Saquon Barkley was one of the latest examples, and now Dalvin Cook joins him.

Both players could not agree to a new contract with their teams and are now having to entertain the possibility of finding new teams in the next 12 months. Cook is already on his way to look for a new team, whereas Barkley will be looking for a new team after seeing out his 1-year contract with the Giants.

Although Cook will be hoping for a big contract with his new team, it may not play out that way. With Running Backs continuing to be signed on cheaper contracts, the duo of Barkley and Cook will hope to amend that.
