Chris Jones stands firm on his demands for the extension of his contract.
Kansas City Chiefs seem to be going all out to not repeat their mistakes with the Cincinnati Bengals. The two franchises did collide in Week 17 and it was the Bengals who did walk out 34-31 winners. It was a really bad performance from the Kansas City defense who did get run over by the Bengals offense. A victory in the AFC Championship game on Sunday would be sweet redemption for the Chiefs.

The Chiefs DT Chris Jones also seems to be waiting for his opportunity after learning his lessons. While answering questions about the game, he states, “I learned that they outplayed us. Came to a critical situation at the end, goal-line stance. A couple bad calls. It’s going to be a battle. That’s what I know for sure. It’s going to be a battle.”
The game will be an interesting and competitive meeting with both teams eyeing an opportunity to go to the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs are coming off of an impressive offensive performance against the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round. The Mahomes–Hill–Kelce trio and their greatness were on full display during their overtime victory. But it is their defense that will be a concerning sight for coach Andy Reid. The last meeting with the Bengals did mark the best outing in the orange jersey for both Burrow and Chase.

While QB Joe Burrow threw for 446 yards and four TDs, WR Chase did end up accumulating 11 catches for 266 yards and three scores. So Chiefs have to pay extra attention to defense to Burrow and cut his passing lanes. While slowing down Chase can only be done if multiple players do remain on his case.
Whatever the Chiefs do decide to line up on Sunday it will give them another opportunity to one-up the Bengals. It will be far from an easy game but the Chiefs’ offense will be crucial as much as their defense to trouble Cincinnati. The fans of Kansas City will surely be turning up in numbers to support and cheer them.
