Josh Allen was one of the four NFL QBs taking part in the golf exhibition game ‘The Match’ on June 1. While playing, a shot by the Buffalo Bills star went off target and curiously hit a fan straight on the head. They played the video on the Pat McAfee Show. While the hosts of the show reacted hilariously to the video, the reaction from the fan divided them.

The fan in question falls to the ground clutching his head after being hit by the ball.

Did Josh Allen’s shot really hurt?

Josh Allen’s misjudged shot caught the watching fan straight on the head. The video showed the ball coming at a high velocity from around 150-160 yards and possibly hitting the man dead center on his head.

Pat McAfee said, “That guy’s smiling after getting point in the head with a f-cking golf ball from a 160 yards away, 170 yards away, that would hurt so bad.” They agreed the ball had come at a top speed, given the noise it made on impact.

In the video, everyone could hear people surrounding the man saying, “Oh my God,” as they couldn’t believe the absurd situation. According to Pat McAfee, Allen’s shot was just one of the multiple misjudged hits during ‘The Match.’

Some feel that the fan overreacted to the whole thing

According to co-host Tone Digz, the man clearly overreacted like it was a fatal shot. He said that the man acted like “he got shrapnel through his jugular… Now the second time I watch it, I think he may have just smacked his arm.”

The guy was probably “staring into the sun” as everyone looked up to see the ball, Tone said. His reaction was also uncertain. He wasn’t sure whether the ball hit him on the neck or the head.
