Colin Kaepernick was a buzz all over the offseason. He has moved forward with his life, working over his distinct endeavors. However, he also kept a return to the turf open. One thing’s for sure: he will not leave any moment to give up any chance to make a resurgence in the NFL.

Comedian and TV Host Joy Behar claimed on ABC’s talk show “The View,” that Colin Kaepernick was “thrown off the team” for saying a prayer while kneeling on the sidelines during the national anthem. Behar made the comments because of the SCOTUS prayer case.

Behar claims, “He takes a knee — I don’t know if this is really legal or any of what I’m saying — but it seems to me like the guy takes a knee and he gets thrown off the team. But he could be praying, too, praying, you know, that these people would leave him alone. I don’t know what he’s praying for. But he could be praying. Who knows what you’re doing when you take a knee. Doesn’t that look like prayer to you? Suddenly it’s illegal for him, but it’s okay for this guy.”

On a fact-checking note, the league did not throw off Colin Kaepernick. After the 2016–17 season, his contract expired, and he could not find a new team to compete alongside. Moreover, his kneeling was not for prayers but was a silent protest for a cause.
