Myles Garrett talks about the Browns’ victory over the Bengals

When asked if the defense is finally clicking for the team, Garrett said, We are starting to… We put together two pretty good performances in a row. This one was big, showing up in the first half and keeping them under 17 points. That is what we look to do every game. This type of performance is something we need to stack on.

Speaking about his defensive performance, Garrett said, “That first tipped pass leading to an interception and then that sack, it felt like everyone was like, ‘The bank is open. Everyone grab something.’ I was rushing to get to the passer to make a big play, but there were a lot of guys playing lights out. It was just beautiful to see.”

Cleveland Browns head coach, Kevin Stefanski, also praised the defensive end for his display against the Bengals, particularly his blocking game in one-on-one situations. His sack on Bengals’ quarterback Joe Burrow in the first quarter drew plenty of praise from fans and experts. Notably, Garrett suffered a horrific car accident a few weeks ago. Although he survived the crash, he got hurt in several parts of his body. It’s still amazing that he’s back so quickly after such an incident and playing with authority.

Can the Browns still qualify for the playoffs?

The Browns started the season with a win over the Panthers and looked really dominant. However, their season did not go as planned after that, as they lost five games so far this season. With a 3-5 record, they are still in the third position in the AFC North division, behind the Ravens and the Bengals.

After a win over the Bengals, the Browns will surely look to keep their winning momentum going. Their next game will be on 13th November against the Dolphins. As they get a week off, they will try to work on their offense a little bit. If they continue to win games, they will certainly get an opportunity to qualify for the playoffs.
