Week 3 would have two of the NFL’s behemoths collide in a game that could be their last face-off. Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers would go head to head at the Raymond James Stadium. Interestingly, both are among the league’s oldest QB1. While Brady came back from retirement, Rodgers is still running strong. However, the Packers QB clarified that he would not do what TB12 is doing.

The recent episode of God Bless Football saw Aaron Rodgers making his presence. The panel touched upon a legion of topics. One of them pointed out the rarity of the oldest QBs facing each other, to which Rodgers had a surprising response. He also reflected on his interest in retirement.

Aaron Rodgers exclaimed, “Very rare. I think, is he the only guy older than me in the league?” When a panelist asked about one moment when he contemplated retirement, the Packers quarterback said, “It was not frustration; it was pure enjoyment.”

“It was enjoying the other side. It was enjoying a life of making my own schedule and traveling when and where I want to and not be holding to a workout at this time and body work at this time and this thing going on here. It was the ability to create a schedule for myself for an entire year and, like, ‘man, this is pretty amazing.’”

He has hobbies beyond football and projects he wants to undertake in place. It involves touring and a few of his enterprises and humanitarian endeavors in which he wishes to become more active. Rodgers maintained it was never dissatisfaction since he enjoyed playing and competing. It was always about discipline.

Aaron Rodgers will not sling passes till 45 like Tom Brady

Tom Brady made a stunning comeback after hanging up his cleats early this year. He is 45 and is still running it back with the Buccaneers. However, Rodgers may not compete like the Bucs QB did: Playing in the NFL despite touching the 45 age milestone. In an interview, the Packers quarterback stated he would start something different before his 45th birthday.

According to Jim Polzin, A-Rod has several interests outside of sports. The game has indeed been extraordinary, but Rodgers feels he delivered everything he had. The quarterback is 38 years old, which implies he has a few more years in the arsenal.

Monday’s big game pits Tom Brady and the Bucs against Aaron Rodgers and the Bay. Who would succeed? It is open to scrutiny.
