But a day before his 76th birthday, Simpson quashed the reports and rumors flying around. He recently took to Twitter on the 8th of July sharing his account of the stories. Simpson’s truth bomb will clear up the smoke and rumor mill. That has been circling around him giving many the clarity that has been missing.

OJ Simpson states his version of the story

The 5x All-Pro winner shared a clip on Twitter stating how he felt. His account will go quite the distance in giving many fans clarity with the news that has engulfed the NFL star. OJ Simpson began clearing the air with his customary words as his in his bio, “it’s yours truly.”

While watching the women’s PGA tournament, Simpson adds, “All of a sudden, I started getting texts from various people uh wishing me well from the heart attack that I had.” This was a surprise to OJ as he further adds, “I never knew I had a heart attack.” Simpson jokes about the potential heart attack he experienced and says, “A heart attack would feel a lot worse than whatever this is….. it must be true because it was in the media.”
