Tom Brady has been playing in the NFL for 22 years. He is currently 45 years old. Most in the sport think about retirement a decade earlier. But they aren’t the GOAT.

While many asked him to retire after a shaky start to the season, he has kept on going. And if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB coach Clyde Christensen is to be believed, Brady is showing no signs of slowing down.

Bucs QB coach warns the rest of the league

At 45, most people slow down in life. But Tom Brady isn’t like most people. The Buccaneers QB coach Clyde Christensen told the Buccaneers Radio Network that the GOAT is refusing to cut down on practice throws and is playing as good as ever.

“He’s playing as good as he ever has. I think he’s improving. I think he’s improving. Not to sound like a coaching cliché here again, but you practice, you work hard at what you do, you tend to improve. I think that goes for 45-year-olds, as well. He’s throwing the ball at a high, high level,” Christensen said.

Christensen also said that the franchise requested Brady to cut down his deep shots in practice, but he has refused to do so. Brady works on them late in practice with Christensen. And the coach said he can’t stop the QB. “He’s always looking to improve. He’s never ever looking to get by and slide by on the easy side.”

Vintage Tom Brady

The Buccaneers and Tom Brady have had a shaky start to the season. Much has been made out about the legendary QB’s future in the league. Brady himself admitted that his dip in form was unprecedented in his entire NFL career. But that seems to be history now.

He is back at his best and the fans can see him just like they have grown accustomed to. Brady is still the best in the business, and he showed it with his leadership in the last two games. The Bucs won against the reigning Super Bowl champions Los Angeles Rams because of a Brady clutch play. And also he won the game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Brady threw 22 completions in 29 attempts for 258 yards against Seattle. The Bucs QB threw two touchdown passes. The Seahawks’ defense intercepted one of his passes. Can Brady keep up the intensity and go all the way this season?
